Knowing that mods have traditionally been a mainly PC thing, we’re super excited to be working with Realismus Modding and others to bring mods like this to PS4. Animal health is imperative to a well-run and profitable farm. As age, weight, and gender are simulated, the type of feed you give them has a huge impact. Several new animal breeds have been introduced, adding more complexity and choice to how you manage your animals. You will need to keep your eye on the new and improved weather forecast and plan accordingly, but as you know, predicting the weather is an uncertain science, so you should be wary of putting all your eggs in one basket. With three distinct phases for each season, and several new kinds of weather events, every year will bring unique challenges and rewards, due to the way it impacts crop growth. Just like in real life, farmers will have to adapt to seasonal changes as well as predict the weather.

This mod overhauls several core systems, with an emphasis on realism and making winter, spring, summer, and fall come alive, both visually and in terms of gameplay.
